Welcome to The Bulk Brigade

This is the story of three hero's fighting crime without super powers.

The Bulk Brigade returned today after taking a nine month sabbatical! When my pc crashed, I took some time away from the comic. Like always, though, I had to return. I love this little comic and hope you do too! Let me know if you have any comments.

My netbook didn't really crash, but it sure felt like it. It was sluggish and nearly impossible to do anything on. So I reloaded it. I should have all the necessary software to draw and scan the BULK BRIGADE in about a week. Until then, re-read the archives. They were awesome!

I have no idea what happened to issue #8 of the BULK BRIGADE, but really I think we can probably all live without it. Number 9 begins a totally cool story that will lead you, my loyal readers, to places you've never been before. And while you may think that this is something I say every issue, I will tell you that something horrible happens to one of our hero's. I wish I could give away more, but it's something you'll just have to stick around for and read. It all starts with #9, "2 DAYS TO CURON". Stay tuned!

After having so few stories last so many issues, Issue #6 is refreshing in it's briefness. A single issue equals a single story. While seemingly a complicated story, I'm able to tell it in just 7 pages. It's sort of like if Joe Worthy starred in the "Avatar" movie. Anyway, I hope ya'll enjoy the story and art! As always, let me know if you have any compliments or criticisms. I take both with a box of kleenex!

Joe Worthy Gets A Hair Cut!

For those of you who are looking at that title and wondering "What's the big deal?" let me tell you it is a big deal. Joe Worthy, aka THE BULK, has never had a haircut in his life.
In Issue #1, Joe tried to disguise himself and so he changed his hairstyle so that you could see his eyes, but he had never cut his hair.
In BULK BRIGADE #5, find out what happens when villans STAPLE GUN, LOUD SPEAKER, and SLING SHOT attempt this mighty feat.

I didn't lie. The BULK comic, as we know it, is over. Finished. Kaput. There will never be another new BULK comic. However, I've created a new series called THE BULK BRIGADE which is much more exciting than the BULK ever was. The stories are better, the artwork is better, and the comics are longer.
There are still some old BULK comics that were previously unpublished, and I may end up publishing those here, but those will not be NEWLY created comics, but previously unseen ones.
I hope you all enjoy the new series, and please be sure to send any feedback: The good, the bad and the ugly.
Happy reading!

The very last issue of "The Bulk" is #141. Tune in to find out how this classic comic book ends... and then to see what I have in store for you next!

Issue #124 & 127 Missing!

Issue #124 and #127 are missing and there's nothing I can do about it. I've looked high and low with no clue as to their wherabouts. While 124 isn't that important as far as the story progression goes, #127 is the climactic ending to our current story. When I first realized that I was missing issues, I contemplated not running this story at all. But when you see the finished product for the issues I do have, I think you'll all agree that I made the right choice putting it out "as is". I mean, these issues are drawn on graphing paper. And not even full-sized paper.
I started trying different paper and pen types when I lost my fan base and wasn't publishing THE BULK for anyone but me. Anyways, sorry for the missing issues. I hope you all enjoy what I've got. Laters!

Harried Format, but Awesome Story!

The next few issues are going to be in the old landscape format that i love the best. It's not great for reading online, however. Also, each page contains about 30 panels, so the art and text are tiny, so you might want to break out your glasses. And each issue is one page long. As far as the story, you all know that THE BULK, aka Joe Worthy, is retired now, right? Well that means the fate of the world is up to Captain Victory. I have nothing against Cap, but he's no BULK. He lacks the inner strength to get the job done. But with no Joe, he'll have to toughen up, won't he. I hope you all enjoy. Keep sending the comments! I love 'em!!!

An Original Story At Last!

It was more than four issues ago since THE BULK has had an original story, but now that the STAR TREK story has concluded in issue #112, that's exactly what your all about to get.
In the amazing issues to come you'll see Joe Worthy reduced to a baby (literally), you'll see super heroes from other planets, and CAT PEOPLE who can talk!
Don't worry, it's not all in the same issue! Stay tuned and enjoy!
